Intel lowers prices for Ivy Bridge

Future processors with architecture Ivy Bridge not only replaces Sandy Bridge. New rumors that the newcomers also be fitted with lower price tags. n approximately one week released the third generation of Intel Core processor, known under the code name Ivy Bridge. The newcomers will replace plain and simple current models of architecture Sandy Bridge and is intended to deliver higher performance at lower power consumption.

Ivy Bridge is not accessing the same price points as their predecessors but becomes a little bit cheaper than today's processors. The flagship Core i7 3770K is said to cost 313 USD, which compares with Core i7 2700K and 2600K at 332 and 317 USD. While remaining Ivy Bridge, including the lowest priced model overclocking Core i5 3570K, is cheaper than its predecessors. In most cases that is the price reductions of between 4 and 10 USD.
