In late March launch of GeForce, GTX 680 which thus was the first of Kepler. Now waiting for more models in the range of lower prices,but before it's time for another video card from the higher levels, in particular, models with dual GPU.
Sources in the Taiwan manufacturer has given the news release ofthe Geforce GTX 690 can be made in early April, but added that itall depends on when AMD released the Radeon HD 7990. Nvidiawill not be the first to use dual graphics processors in next-generation 28 nanometer, but plans to fight after the video cardcompetitors can be viewed at the seams.
Geforce GTX 690 contains two GK104, the same graphicsprocessor that is used for the GTX 680, which translates to 3 072CUDA cores with two 256-bit memory bus and a total of 4 GB ofGDDR5 memory (2 GB effective). Clock frequency is expected to be lowered a notch to keep thepower consumption and heat dissipation so that at a manageablelevel.
