Anyone who is looking for a Geforce GTX 680 will have noticed that it is empty on the shelf. The reason is that the semiconductor manufacturer TSMC can not get out enough chips to 28 nanometers, forcing Nvidia to act.
Samsung to be the savior in times of need. Nvidia is said to have already begun trial production with the Korean company's 28 nanometer process, but it is not known whether they are GPUs or new variants of the Tegra.
